Stretched Image

The size of the print is one of the major reasons for the formation of vertical lines on the paper. If you are trying to print a low-quality image in a large size, it may not give you a perfect output like printing a high-quality image. This is because it will make the spaces between the small dots forming the image visible. It will lead to the formation of vertical lines all over the printout. This problem can be resolved by not enlarging low-quality images or by using high-quality images.

Dirt On Printer

Dirt and dust over the heads and rollers of the printer can lead to the formation of lines over the printout. This is because the dirt forming on the printer over time will block the ink from the cartridges. This will also clot the ink over the heads and it will cause unwanted lines over the paper. Regularly cleaning the printer can solve this issue. If the printer is making lines over the print even after cleaning the heads, it would be better to consult a technician.

Low Ink

Printing Issues

Low ink over the cartridges is another reason for the formation of steak lines while printing. It will not only make lines but also may make the printout lighter. Vertical lines over the paper are a warning sign for low ink in printers. If you are not providing much attention, it may also cause so many errors in the print over time. The best way to solve this issue is by replacing the cartridge. However, you can use the old cartridge for a little more time by shaking the same and reinstalling it in the printer.

The above-mentioned are some of the main reasons for the formation of vertical lines over the printout. These issues can e resolved by the above methods and if it is not working, it will be better to seek the help of a technician.
